Restructure Your Business Around AI
Before the Market Does It for You

We help $20M+ businesses turn AI from a boardroom worry into a working competitive advantage.

The pressure is in every leadership meeting now.

Your team is talented, but AI is a new discipline. Bolting it on without a plan burns budget and momentum. Meanwhile, the old ways of building software and running Agile were never designed for the speed AI unlocks.

The real threat isn’t AI. It’s watching a competitor quietly rewire their cost structure while you’re still debating pilots.

You have two options:

  1. Throw more people at growth and watch margins compress as you scale.
  2. Restructure using AI and serve more customers, faster, with the team you already have.

We’re built for the second one.

Work with us to get a clear path from “we should be doing something with AI” to a business that runs differently:

  • A prioritized map of where AI creates the most value in your business, not generic use cases
  • Your people, upskilled to streamline their own workflows with AI
  • A delivery model rebuilt for AI speed so Agile can actually keep pace
  • Governance and guardrails so you scale safely, not chaotically
  • Working software in days: a production-ready build or a functional prototype, depending on the complexity of what we take on
25

We’ve spent 25+ years building the software that runs businesses like yours.

We understand the position you’re in. Boards want a story on AI. Teams want direction. And the pressure to move fast collides with the risk of moving wrong. You need a partner who has actually done the work, not a slide deck.

For over 25 years, JHMG has led in software development and shaped thought leadership in how businesses build. Our rapid development onsites bring a senior UX designer and a senior architect into the room to think through the complex, robust initiatives that run your business. We get real work done in days.

We don’t hand you a strategy and walk away. We help you build it.

See it in practice

A top plaintiff’s firm

Jason and Dr. Michelle Cobb ran an onsite that produced a working prototype for the extremely complex workflow at the heart of the firm’s lead-plaintiff outreach process. This derisked in days a build that would otherwise take months just to scope.

Sometimes you leave with production-ready software. Sometimes you leave with a working prototype that proves out the hard part. Which one depends on the complexity of what we’re building–but you always leave with something real, and you leave with it fast.

Getting started is simple:

1

Find the Leverage.

We run a working session with your leadership to map AI opportunities. Using business model and value proposition canvases, we pressure-test each idea, cut the distractions, and prioritize the highest-impact moves.

2

Enable Your Business.

We train your people to streamline their own workflows with AI, evolve your Agile practice for AI-era speed and volume, and run rapid development onsites that put real, working software in your hands.

3

Govern and Scale.

We put the governance in place so your AI initiatives stay safe, repeatable, and aligned as they grow across the organization.

When we say “senior people,” we mean the people whose names are on this page–not a pitch team that hands you off after the sale.

Jason Long

CEO/Founder

Jason is a serial entrepreneur and problem solver with 25 years of experience building businesses, from agriculture to healthcare, with a focus on web-based technology. He's worked nearly every seat in the software lifecycle — developer, UX designer, graphic designer, project manager, director, executive coach, CEO — which is why he can pressure-test your business model in the morning and your design in the afternoon. At JHMG he leads the firm and consults directly with SaaS businesses on starting, building, growing, scaling, and exiting, and he led the rapid-development onsite that delivered Virtual Latinos' production-ready system.

Dr. Michelle Cobb

Director of Production

Michelle leads delivery across the full software development lifecycle and helps enterprises adopt AI and automation in a way that accelerates work without sacrificing rigor. She co-led the plaintiff-firm onsite featured above— where she's now building automation into a core workflow—and has run AI opportunity assessments, policy and manager training, and custom system builds for clients from healthcare to manufacturing. Her career began as a software engineer at Harris Corporation (DoD Top Secret clearance) and includes nearly a decade at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine designing and clinically evaluating behavioral-health technology. That blend of engineering depth, evidence-driven design, and delivery in regulated environments is what she brings to making AI a dependable part of how you build.

Stefan Bucur

Senior Architect

Stefan began his career as a software developer and technology consultant in Sibiu, Romania, and has since helped clients across Europe and the US optimize their operations through digital solutions. Today he leads digital projects and cross-functional teams across both agile and waterfall environments, and specializes in guiding organizations through the cloud journey, architecting scalable SaaS solutions and supporting clients at every stage from first build to production.

You already know AI is about to change your cost structure. The real question is whether you’ll lead that change or scramble to catch up.

AI isn’t a tool you buy; it’s a change in how your business is structured.

The companies pulling ahead aren’t the ones with the most licenses. They’re the ones who’ve rethought where human effort belongs and where technology should take over. That means reallocating your best people to the work that serves more customers and accelerates the business, while AI handles the rest.

That shift touches everything: how your teams work day to day, how you plan and deliver, and how you decide what’s worth building in the first place. Do it well and your cost structure changes in your favor. Do it piecemeal and you get expensive pilots that never scale.

JHMG brings 25+ years of software development experience and a hands-on, get-it-done approach to make sure you land in the first camp, moving from strategy to working results fast.

Six months from now, you’ll be the competitor that others worry about:

    • Your teams move faster because AI handles the repetitive work. Your best people are pointed at the work that actually grows the business.
    • You serve more customers without a proportional jump in headcount.
    • Your delivery process keeps pace with the ideas instead of throttling them.
    • Your leadership has a clear, prioritized roadmap and the governance to scale it with confidence.

That’s not a someday vision. It starts with one conversation.

Every quarter you wait, the gap widens:

  • Competitors compound their advantage.
  • AI-savvy talent gets harder to attract.
  • “Catching up” gets more expensive than “leading” ever would have been.

The businesses that win the next decade are deciding how to restructure right now.
