Not unlike many web designers whose days are wrenched with tight production schedules, support calls and in-house meetings; squeezing out our own contemporary design has been a difficult task weighing in at a total of two years…. But hallelujah, at last it has arrived! And I’d love to give you the grand tour:

You’ll notice, as was intentional, that our designs are featured center stage. Though we boast content management and application development as our unique value proposition, our custom designs are often what resonate with interested parties. Furthermore, we recognize that few will read, word for word, what we have written here; our competitors perhaps. But everyone else just wants to see the pretty pictures.

So, we open up with a flash rotator on the home page that showcases some of our most current designs. We hope that you will continue to check back as this area morphs into its true potential; we will still be working on it in the coming months, as time presents itself. Bottom right are thumbnails linking you to nine of our most recently launched projects, and you can use the large buttons to the left to visit our services pages or to contact us about your project.

Keep in touch with our blog, too. We have a wealth of knowledge to share, and we promise to make the content educational, not promotional (who reads that??!?). Appropriate to our new site launch, Travis Bach shares an enlightening, yet grounded perspective in “The Art of Beta,” and our creative director, Jason Long, breaks web design down to rudimentary principals. Coming posts will feature tips and tricks from our seasoned programmers, seo editorials, and suggested reading from our business library. Shared knowledge also comes in the form of resources lists within four categories: Design, Programming, Internet Marketing and Business. From web based tools to books to blogs, you’ll find an expanse of reliable basics and brass tacks.

Well, we appreciate you stopping by, and we’d love to hear your thoughts…so don’t hesitate to use that comment box below. What do you like? What would you change? You see, we’re turning over a new leaf, here. This website is the face of J House and we want to keep it looking good. Thanks for reading. Bye!
