It’s finally Friday! Putting on your dancing shoes this weekend? Vader is!
In the grand scheme of things, QR codes are relatively new technology. These little codes are nothing more than 2D barcodes that can be scanned by any smartphone on the market. That said, QR codes enable, or encourage, you to think creatively to find ways of extending your website into a 3rd, or 4th, dimension. It’s okay! Don’t get scared; these dimensions are guaranteed to be monster-free.
And what’s more, J House’s own product developer Jeremy Minnick has created a quick, free and easy QR Code building site, QR Codify. Simply add a URL and choose your color/size, and you have your very own signature QR Code.
In the world of competitive media marketing, many companies operate under the mantra, “Go big or go home.” However, BIG is not necessarily Kia’s style. In fact, Kia is known for putting its all into the small.
The primary aesthetic feature of Kia vehicles is their miniature size. The company successfully catered to this feature in its popular Kia Soul hamster spot. In 2010, the spot grabbed the title of Most Effective Automotive Ad of the Year at the Nielsen Automotive Advertising Awards.
So how did Kia make another great promotional impact upon the recent release of the 2012 Picanto? It wentsmaller. Kia is now the first brand to create a stop-motion animation on the surface of fingernails.

It’s the 256th day of the year, and that means it’s Programmer’s Day! If you don’t get it, that’s probably a good thing.
Programmer’s day is a time to reflect on and appreciate the fruits of your socially-limited family and friends’ efforts to bridge the gap between user input and hardware.
You like the coolest new apps on your iPhone? Thank a programmer!
You know that warm feeling you get when your bank charges you the monthly maintenance fee as soon as your balance is at $.37? Implemented by a Programmer!
JH Media Group is happy to announce that we’ll be partnering with the Clarke County School District for a new project.
At its Sept. 8 meeting, the Board of Education approved a contract with JH Media Group to build a job-finding website for students in the county. The site will allow students to search for entry-level jobs, submit resumes and network on a local and regional basis.
We’re excited to do what we do best while helping our local education system!
